Great things never came from comfort zones. So I get out of where I am. The artist's thought might be like this. The title is "project (突)". "project" is derived from Middle French "jeter", which means "throw", and represents an activity that is "thrown" fast towards a goal. The word "jet" is also derived from the word. Ideal for conference rooms where you can discuss projects. Its brilliance which changes its shade depending on the viewing angle or time may flash your project. Not mounted. If you like, you can use a black mat on the black frame and make it float mount. Or you can collect several works in the same series. PURE Review
"Surreal person" series makes you feel as if you were peeking through someone's dreams. The title means the avant-garde movement, surrealism that occurred in the 1920s of course, but today, when we say "sur" in Japan, it means unique ideas that are constructed far higher situations than is possible in reality. Sometimes, a longtime relationship could be "sur", so perfect for a gift to a couple who get along well. The blue mineral pigment is used partly and shine depending on the viewing angle. Not mounted. Almost A4 size, 11.8-inch long and 8.3-inch wide. It is affixed to a 0.1-inch thick board, making it ideal for a floating frame. Also lovely if you put it in a colorful frame. もしかしたら「一」という文字に見えるかもしれないが、抽象作品である。墨のどことなく青い色合いは希少な古墨（松煙墨）によるもの。淡墨のにじみが幾層にも重なり、紙と軸の領域を通り越して続いている。これは石井抱旦にしか表現できない墨の美。ぜひ見えない作品空間を鑑賞していただきたい。書家曰く、「禅的な要素を意識した静寂な心象風景」を映しているとのこと。ひとり静かに対峙したいミュージアムピースだ。強い青緑一色の絹裂に細い銀のラインが入ったコンテンポラリー仕立ての掛け軸。縦114センチ、横55センチ。桐箱入り。（ご購入後に書家本人が箱書きをいたします）

にじみによる作品が静的な仕事だとしたら、この作品は動的な仕事によるものだろう。墨の飛沫は飛墨と呼ばれ、いかに美しく飛ばすかは書家の研究の賜物。実際に書家が使用したのは筆なのか何か他の道具なのか、どうしたらこんなふうに書けるのか、眺めているうちに自分で実験してみたくなるかもしれない。裏打ちのみ。縦35センチ、横35センチ。木製パネルに表具すると北欧インテリアにも馴染む。

縦35センチ、横15センチの小品だが、墨の色が濃く存在感を放つ。中心に入った細い滝のような白が美しく、清らか。抽象的なのにどこか具象的でもあり、マテリアルは墨と和紙なのに色が見えてくる。この絶妙なバランスは石井抱旦ならではのもの。裏打ちのみの未表装。モノトーンで額装するのも良し、白い裂で細い掛け軸にするのも良し。
